Hello! I’m currently undergoing training for my Therapeutic Yoga Certification and I’m excited to invite you to join me on this journey. As part of my practicum, I’m seeking clients to assist me in completing 150 hours of practical one-on-one experience.

Embark on a transformative journey towards pain relief and enhanced movement capabilities with our one-hour Health Gains Therapy sessions. Our training therapist specialized in utilizing subtle, yet highly effective movements to target areas of discomfort and restriction within your body. Through a combination of gentle exercises working on the mechanics of your body, mindful breathing techniques, and targeted stretches, we aim to restore harmony and balance to your musculoskeletal system.

What to Expect

  1. Consultation: Initial consult requests that you fill out a body diagram. On the body diagram, mark the area(s) of concern with the number 1. This represents the primary focus of the examination. Use numbers 2 through 5 (or more) on the body diagram to denote these adjacent regions. Number 2 would be the area immediately next to the primary concern, followed by numbers 3, 4, and 5 (or more) for further adjacent areas. By filling out the body diagram with as much detail as you can recall, and prioritizing areas of concern. Feel free to use different colours and/or patterns.
  2. Your session begins with a personalized consultation to discuss your specific areas of pain or discomfort, as well as any mobility goals you may have. This allows our therapist to tailor the sessions to your unique needs.
  3. Subtle Movement Techniques: Our therapist will guide you through a series of subtle movement exercises aimed at the mechanics of releasing tension, improving joint mobility, and restoring proper movement patterns. These movements may include slow and controlled motions, micro-adjustments, and proprioceptive exercises to retrain your body’s movement patterns.
  4. Targeted Stretching: We’ll incorporate targeted stretching techniques to further release tension in tight muscles and improve flexibility. These stretches are performed with breathwork mindfulness and awareness, allowing you to deepen your connection to your body and its sensations.
  5. Ideally, this is a commitment to yourself, with continued sessions spread over 5 to 8 weekly sessions and/or a 3-month weekly series, we assess, refine, and implement a personalized treatment plan, prioritizing open communication and progress towards your goals. Each session then builds on your movement and awareness.
